In one of my many walks through Puno I found the Mercado Central--a bit like LA's Grand Central Market, but with a uniquely Peruvian flair. My favorite was the Electronics Department wherein all fashion of discarded American TVs, computers and DVD players were receiving a second life. I would love to find a way to ship things down here! (This city is completely littered with Internet Cafes in that everyone loves to chat, play games and surf the web and almost no one can afford a home computer.)
